Angela Drysdale has over 30 years’ experience in education and leads the strategic direction of St Margaret’s primary school from Pre-Prep to Year 6, with responsibility for shaping the curriculum, student wellbeing and operations, and the overall delivery of educational programs. She is passionate about primary education, with a deep interest in early childhood education as it lays the foundation for future learning.

Known for her hands-on leadership, Angela engages with students and staff to foster a positive and supportive learning environment. She is committed to developing a team of leading educators and implementing evidence-based programs that enhance student engagement, wellbeing and academic outcomes. Her leadership is firmly rooted in the school’s holistic education philosophy, which balances academic achievement with pastoral care, spiritual growth and extracurricular activities.
Angela’s leadership has been instrumental in driving the remarkable progress of St Margaret’s primary school. Enrolments have surged by 92.4% over the past decade, reaching near capacity across all year levels. NAPLAN results reflect Angela’s implementation of teaching programs that foster student growth and academic excellence. St Margaret’s students’ results are consistently well above state and national averages against all measures.
