Congratulations to Mr Zac Ansell, an excellence awardee in the Australian Education Awards 2022. Zac has been recognised for his role as Year 11 Team Leader and Humanities Teacher at Genazzano FCJ College in 2021. In these roles Zac was required
Andrea is an Employee Learning and Development professional with two years of experience who is passionate about using her skills to implement innovative and pioneering HR initiatives to drive a culture of professional development. Her strengths lay in people and relationship management, critical thinking and delivering behaviour change projects with an innovative twist. She has been responsible for introducing compliance learning tailored to our significantly diverse employee base of over 12,000 and using her skills to create engagement for and roll out of 'Altogether Autism & Neurodiversity awareness programme at The Warehouse Group. She has shifted the way our team engages with learning, cultivating a continuous learning and development culture specific to their journey.

to connect with, care for and guide the Year 11 cohort of students and lead a team of homeroom teachers and activities such as the Year 11 Camp.
One of his main achievements was the development of a mentor program which involved delivering content related to student wellbeing, personal development and career readiness. Zac is incredibly humbled to be recognised in this way and shared how his students are his main motivation. “My motivation is to know each and every student and to provide an enriching, supportive, safe and positive VCE experience”, he said. “In 2022 I am continuing my focus on student wellbeing and re-establishing important connections between students and the College following the two-year impact of the COVID pandemic”. Leveraging learning data and feedback from students, the Mentor Program undertaken in Year 12 focuses on preparing students for life outside of school and important exam skills which students may have missed out on developing in 2020 and 2021.
