community. Our campus, close to Sydney Harbour and within walking distance of the city, is an exciting blend of heritage and contemporary precincts and spaces, ideal for contemporary teaching and learning, recreation as well as relaxation, and the pursuit of creative endeavours.
The Wenona Boarding House has delivered an outstanding residential service of education and care to our students and their families over many years.
Wenona’s vision for boarding is integral to the culture and sense of community within the Boarding House. This vision - that every student will experience a sense of belonging and will feel warmly welcomed into a community characterised by kindness and compassion, inclusivity and respect- is foundational to the Boarding House. The vision shapes the rhythm and routines of the House, influences staff recruitment processes and is demonstrated in tangible ways in student House meetings, the Boarders’ Representative Council initiatives, and each day in the manner with which staff and students engage and relate.
