Bethany Lutheran Primary School is an independent co-educational school providing quality education for children from Prep to Year 6.
Bethany Lutheran Primary School is based on the principles of the Christian faith as taught by the Lutheran Church of Australia. Bethany was founded in 1982, and has a strong reputation for high educational quality and dynamic, innovative programs.
To learn and grow in a safe, supportive Christian environment, our rich and diverse programs aim to meet each student where they are at in their learning journey, then support them to progress, flourish, and achieve to their highest God-given potential.
Bethany is located at Raceview in Ipswich on 4.2 hectares of land. Our facilities provide an agile and 21st Century learning environment, giving our students the ideal environment to be connected, engaged and inspired.

Andrea is an Employee Learning and Development professional with two years of experience who is passionate about using her skills to implement innovative and pioneering HR initiatives to drive a culture of professional development. Her strengths lay in people and relationship management, critical thinking and delivering behaviour change projects with an innovative twist. She has been responsible for introducing compliance learning tailored to our significantly diverse employee base of over 12,000 and using her skills to create engagement for and roll out of 'Altogether Autism & Neurodiversity awareness programme at The Warehouse Group. She has shifted the way our team engages with learning, cultivating a continuous learning and development culture specific to their journey.

Rebecca Fong is Deputy Principal at Bethany Lutheran Primary School, in Ipswich QLD. With over 18 years of experience, across both private and public sectors, Rebecca is driven each day to build relationships and connections with the school community.
Before moving into Education, Rebecca spent 3 years working in Tourism management, after completing her Bachelor of Business degree at the University of Queensland. Rebecca then completed her postgraduate Primary Education degree at QUT.
At Bethany, Rebecca is responsible for the Pastoral care of the students, utilising Restorative Practices. Rebecca also manages the marketing of the school through the school website and social media.
Rebecca’s curriculum passion lies in the area of Literacy, particularly Sounds-Write.

Heidi has been an educator in Queensland Lutheran Schools in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, for over 30 years. She has been a classroom teacher and Deputy Principal and Principal of Bethany Lutheran Primary School, in Ipswich, since 2018.
She is passionate about creating innovative, dynamic and vibrant learning environments that enable every student and staff member to flourish.
Heidi loves leading a school community where every child is viewed as unique, assisted to reach their potential, and develop their God-given gifts and talents. By building relationships with all members of the school community, her hope is for everyone to feel they belong.
She aims to prepare students to be positive contributors in our world, through a culture of service and strong Christian values.
