Jill Coyle is the Chief People Officer at the Far North District Council, a role she has held for over 6 years. Jill has been within the Human Resources sector for over 25 years in various industries such as Retail, Utilities, FMCG, Manufacturing and Local Government. As a member of the Strategic Leadership team at FNDC she is a key influencer, leading and sponsoring many change initiatives and programmes. She is passionate about enhancing workplace flexibility and championing innovative approaches to new ways of working.

Julie oversees the operational and strategic aspects of the human resources function across the region with employees in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and Canada. A member of the Executive Leadership Team, Julie heads the P&C Team of senior leaders and administration staff. Across the business, the P&C team support managers and staff employed in a range of roles including: operations teams in the vineyards and wineries, remote sales teams, and office-based roles including finance, marketing, logistics and legal.
